The brief
Anchor Care Homes required a reliable contractor to support their portfolio across the South of England with both reactive maintenance and planned refurbishment works.
All works were to be carried out within live care environments, requiring minimal disruption to residents and staff while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and finish. A key requirement was that all operatives were DBS-checked and experienced in working within sensitive environments, ensuring a respectful and considerate approach at all times.
In addition, there was a need for the consistent supply and installation of specialist flooring solutions suitable for care settings across a large number of sites.
The action
We have an established, ongoing partnership with Anchor Care Homes, currently supporting over 100 sites across London, Greater London, and the South East.
Our scope of work includes:
- Reactive maintenance – responding promptly to day-to-day repair needs
- Planned refurbishment projects – delivering larger-scale flooring upgrades
- Supply and installation of specialist flooring systems
We regularly supply and install:
- Gradus Carezone carpets across resident living areas, bedrooms, and corridors
- Polyflor safety flooring within all wet areas, including bathrooms and communal spaces
All works are carried out by experienced, DBS-checked teams who understand how to operate within occupied care environments, ensuring minimal disruption, strict adherence to health and safety, and a consistently high-quality finish.
We place a strong emphasis on completing works within agreed timeframes, ensuring that areas are returned to full working order for residents as quickly as possible. Where required, our teams work out of hours or extend working hours to ensure completion, helping to minimise disruption and maintain continuity of care within the homes.
