About us

Managing Director of The Flooring Co Ltd , with over 35 years of experience working within the contract flooring industry and still learning. “Everyday’s a school day.” Constantly looking for ways to improve how we do things, and always with the help of my loyal long-standing team. “Team work makes the dream work.” Husband, father, a little thin on top and a follower of Jesus.

I have over 20 years of experience in the commercial flooring industry, all of it alongside John, our Company Director, and I’m now Senior Estimator at The Flooring Co. I oversee every stage of the tendering process, from enquiry to estimate, and returned to uni part time to continue my professional training – or, as John says, ‘took a break’. Outside work, I have three children and a loving husband. I enjoy reading, socialising, live music and travelling, and I’m as happy in a caravan as a five-star hotel.

I have 20 years of construction experience and have been at The Flooring Co for eight years, where I’m now Commercial Director. I worked in every department of the business before stepping into my current role. Outside work, I love spending time with my family and travelling as much as possible, and I spend a lot of time at the gym keeping fit.

I’ve been at The Flooring Co for 10 years, where I’m now Contracts Manager. I started out as a Labourer with no prior industry knowledge and learnt along the way. Today I’m mainly responsible for procurement and logistics on our current projects, as well as the day-to-day management of our labour force.

I’ve been at The Flooring Co for seven years, where I manage our boutique polished concrete company from enquiry to completion. I work with architects, designers and clients, and seeing our projects in magazines makes the January site visits worth it. Outside work, I’m a pastoral leader at a church in Central London, a professional counsellor and a volunteer with a women’s prison ministry.

I have over 35 years of experience in the flooring industry and have been at The Flooring Co for more than five years, where I’m now Contracts Manager. I oversee commercial, residential and specialist projects, with ongoing training keeping me up to date with industry standards. Outside work, I’m a proud dad of five and grandad to one, which keeps my partner Kim and me busy. I’m also a retired black belt karate instructor – though box splits may be beyond me now.

I’ve been at The Flooring Co for over 15 years, where I’m now Accounts Manager. I’m responsible for the day-to-day running of all the company’s accounts, and every day brings a new challenge that keeps the role varied. Outside work, I love days out and exotic holidays with my husband and three children.

Having been part of The Flooring Co for four years, I started out labouring before moving into estimating, also recently completing a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying. Outside of work, I’m a professional boxer and a follower of Jesus, with faith, discipline and hard work playing an important part in my life.
