The action
As long-term flooring contractors for Bouygues UK, leaders in the construction sector, we have partnered on a series of large-scale development projects.
Leon House – located close to Flooring Co HQ in Croydon – began life as a high-rise office block in the 1960s. Bouygues has transformed this site into 263 luxury open plan apartments. Working from initial tender, through to completion onsite, we managed all aspects of the flooring supply, install and finish for this project.
Working closely with Bouygues, we ensured tight deadlines were met and kept onsite schedules running smoothly across all the different spaces.
Key tasks included the supply and install of +10,000m2 of Parador engineered timber flooring across living spaces and +8,000m2 of Clarendon Vogue British wool carpet in bedrooms. Across communal areas, we fitted +4,000m2 of Quadrant Trance carpet on a Durafit underlay system to provide additional comfort.
The result
Leon House now offers luxurious, comfortable residential homes right in the heart of Croydon.
